Our trips in the car are wonderful for Lauren and I ... we have driven for more than 12 hours straight without the use of a radio or the CD player. We talk and enjoy not just the conversation, but the scenery ... Lauren is never far from her camera ...
The Alumni College is college done right. The only possible exception is that we are staying in the dorms - which to college kids are okay ... but to us they were a bit sparse ...
The sessions were interesting ... breaks and meals were wonderful ... movies, a "Name that Tune" contest and Lauren's solo debut (after a break of 20 years) singing in West Side Story ....
One Hand One Heart
After the class, we took the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Tennessee border before heading home.
